Steering Committee
The Steering Committee (SC) project role includes:
- Biweekly SC project-related meetings
- Preparation in the development and execution
of the community engagement sessions - Inform the leadership, citizenry, and beneficiaries
- Lead project communication with the
Advisory Committee (AC) - Updating the community on an ongoing basis as to project intent, progress, and the 'when, where, and how' community members are able to participate
Advisory Committee
The Advisory Committee (AC) serves an essential purpose on the project, that of supporting the Steering Committee (SC) including:
- Attending SC/AC meetings to maintain an ongoing awareness and understanding regarding the project progress in order to guide the SC
- Updating the community on an ongoing basis as to project intent, progress, and the 'when, where, and how' community members are able to participate
Project Coordinator
The two committee’s (Steering and Advisory) benefit from project coordination provided by the Project Coordinator. The Project Coordinator's role is that of the ‘project hub’ whereby all aspects of the project are managed and tracked to ensure good governance = transparency + accountability + equity. Essentially, the ‘buck stops’ at the Project Coordinator.
